The En-Route NOTAMS seem fine, however In some FIR (EGTT) NOTAM info pasted in from Navair has some oddness.

Example:

Theres two notams for shoreham, which are:

Ref: C0568/10

FIR: EGTT

Code: MRLC

Traffic: VFR IFR

Purpose: Immed. atten. aircraft operators PIB entry Operationally significant for flights

Scope: Aerodrome

Lower limit (FL): 000

Upper limit (FL): 999

Centre and radius (nm): 5050N00018W005

Parent ICAO: EGKA

Start date/time: 17/01/2010 17:04 UTC

End date/time: 24/01/2010 18:00 UTC(estimate)

Activity period: null

Lower height limit: 000

Upper height limit: 999

GRASS RWY 07/25 AND 13/31 CLSD TO FIXED WING ACFT DUE FLOODING

AND:

Ref: C0569/10

FIR: EGTT

Code: LBAS

Traffic: VFR

Purpose: Misc

Scope: Aerodrome

Lower limit (FL): 000

Upper limit (FL): 999

Centre and radius (nm): 5050N00018W005

Parent ICAO: EGKA

Start date/time: 17/01/2010 17:15 UTC

End date/time: 24/01/2010 18:00 UTC(estimate)

Activity period: null

Lower height limit: 000

Upper height limit: 999

IBN 'SH' U/S

Skydemon shows the first EGKA with Biggin Hill in the text, so I suspect the Parsing is doing some strange stuff.

From Tempo

Same thing happens with Goodwood Notam that picks up the Eaglescott info.

From Tempo

Heres the source thats pasted.. I think the parsing is in error. Unless, Im misreading the way to get NOTAMs pasted in from the external site?

Thanks for reporting this. The issue was that although the NOTAM text was correct, when pasting from Navair it was also picking up the headings they were using for the next NOTAM in the list and appending them to the previous one's descriptive text. A little disconcerting definitely. I can't get this to happen with the latest beta so I believe it has been addressed.

Similar experience here.

This NOTAM wasn't grabbed automatically. But pasted in it is reported on, but nothing shows on the plot.

That NOTAM is not applicable to enroute traffic and it's not a navigation warning, so it is not mapped. It's displayed in the NOTAM briefing window if your route touches it, but if we mapped every aerodrome-specific NOTAM it would just be a big mess.

Wouldn't you want to show aerodrome NOTAMs that are either your origin, destination, diversion or waypoint?

They are shown, in detail, in the NOTAM briefing window. There's just no point in plotting them on the map, so we don't.
